LEAP Energy Supporting European Client in Offshore Wind Farm Project in Taiwan

LEAP Energy (LEAP) is proud to be supporting a European client in two of the Offshore Wind Farm (OWF) site investigation projects in Taiwan.

The site investigation projects consist of comprehensive seabed surveys (total area of coverage reaching 300sqkm) and extensive geotechnical soil boring campaign involving operation of multiple vessels on site.

Actenum Corporation, a Canadian software company providing operational scheduling and optimization solutions to the oil & gas industry, and LEAP Energy, an international subsurface consulting and technology delivery provider with offices in Brisbane, Australia and Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia, today announced the signing of an exclusive agency agreement.

Under the terms of the agreement, LEAP Energy will promote and sell Actenum’s solutions and provide technical support to Actenum clients in Australia, New Zealand, and South East Asia. LEAP Energy’s professional services team will also participate in the implementation of Actenum solutions as they are deployed to regional clients.

The Field History Matching (FHM) helps resolving various issues with traditional 3D modeling workflows, which are less likely to deliver and are difficult to implement. FHM uses multi-well drilling approach which requires filtering the field matches based on geo-statistical constraints from the large number of possible matches and use the matched drainage areas from the multi-well to generate Average Properties Maps and Infill Drilling scenarios. The average properties maps and the infill drilling location are generated using a statistical treatment of the field history matches. Most important features of FHM are: Anisotropic Drainage Areas -These drainage areas are generated in an anisotropic manner in order to identity and characterize the fracture network which contributes to the generation of the drainage area at each well. Infill Drilling Location -The infill technique provides the best locations for future infill drilling wells and also highlights the high pressure areas for future exploration.

Following an extensive period of development and practical application, LEAP Energy now announces the much awaited release of DOT.CBM. The software is a full field reservoir modelling and development planning tool for Coal Bed Methane (CBM). New Office In Brisbane

LEAP Energy is pleased to announce the establishment of a new office in Brisbane, Austalia. The Brisbane office will support all Australian and New Zealand oil and gas consultancy activities. The establishment of an office in Brisbane follows the extensive involvement with CBM in Queensland since 2008 and in particular in the Bowen and Surat Basins. LEAP will continue to provide CBM consultancy services as well as services for other unconventional and conventional developments. LEAP provides a range of services including integrated subsurface and surface studies and oil and gas asset evaluation.
